Zoe gained a BSc (First Class Honours) in Geology and Petroleum Geology in 2014, followed by a PhD in Geology in 2018, both from the University of Aberdeen. She has published several first-author papers in high-impact international journals and is a seasoned science writer for general audiences on a wide range of topics.
Outside of editing, Zoe is passionate about promoting diversity in science and public engagement and frequently works with school-aged children to inspire the next generation of scientists.
