Stephen worked in the IT industry for a number of years before commencing university studies at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia and emerging with a PhD in Politics. He held lecturing roles in New Zealand and Malaysia while publishing a monograph and journal articles in the politics of science and technology. Stephen has been copyediting and proofreading academic work since 2011 and now works full-time as an editor from his current home in Leeds, UK.
