Leia is a PhD student at the University of Cambridge, researching neural stem cells and gene regulation. She hails from Ireland, where she obtained a BSc in Biomedical, Health and Life Science at University College Dublin, giving her a well-rounded knowledge of all things biological.

When she’s not at the lab bench, she can be found rowing on the River Cam, exploring the world and drinking copious amounts of coffee.
