Dr Rachel Baron Appointed Assistant Chief Editor

18 July 2018

We’re very pleased to announce that Rachel Baron has just taken on the position of Assistant Chief Editor here at AH Editing, reporting directly to Chief Editor Mike Poole.

As Assistant Chief Editor, as well as editing in the psychology field, Rachel will help Mike with the quality assurance of the editing team, set, revise and improve quality standards, train new and existing editors, and add another level of client care.

Rachel’s academic achievements, experience of both lecturing and research in a Russell Group university setting, and two decades of editing bolster our already strong team as we continue to grow our share of the academic editing market in Hong Kong, China and across Asia.

Rachel spent several years working as a book editor before studying psychology at Exeter University, where she gained a first class honours degree and an MSc in Psychological Research Methods. She first worked as an editor for Armstrong-Hilton over fifteen years ago while completing her PhD studies, and then spent several years lecturing at her alma mater in the UK before returning to us in 2010.

We wish Rachel all the best in her new position.
