AsiaEdit Delivers Workshop To Help Researchers Consolidate Grant Proposal Writing Skills

24 September 2019

On 20 September 2019 AsiaEdit conducted a tailormade workshop on research grant proposal writing for professors and researchers from the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, City University of Hong Kong. This in-depth workshop builds on the success of other academic writing workshops we have offered Hong Kong universities. Over 30 faculty members attended the afternoon session presented by our Chief Operating Officer, Mr Nick Case, to study case studies and learn from our experience in research proposal editing.

The workshop, designed by our Chief Editor, Dr Mike Poole, and based on our extensive experience working with researchers around the world, identified ways in which the attendees could make their submissions stand out from the crowd using examples of poor and improved proposals.

The response to the workshop was overwhelmingly positive. We had a constructive question and discussion session and are looking forward to organising more workshops on different areas of academic writing.
